Should You Use A Pre Made System To Build Your Home Business?

Be Warned, My Answer May Shock You!
I have given this very question a ton of thought recently. There are 3 main things that need to be happening on a daily business in order to survive with running a home based business.
Your own evaluation in these areas will actually make the decision for you concerning whether or not you should be using a pre built marketing system as part of your business online.
People are going to be giving you all sorts of advice and I can only offer what I have learned from my own experience. There are long term goals and short term goals for growing a thriving business from the comfort of your own home. Unfortunately, most of what is being taught to new Internet marketers or Network Marketers who seek to use the Internet to build their business are LONG TERM strategies.
Are they good strategies? Of course they are and you should definitely get as many skills under your belt as possible to garner further success as you grow your business.
Some of the long term strategies include things like Social Media like Twitter, Facebook and blogging. Many people are being told to “posture” themselves as leaders and this is something you must do , but most people go about it all wrong. I have even been guilty of it because I took really bad advice.
So here are the three things that must be happening on a regular basis in order to even stay in the game and claim to have a business:
Get New Leads (opt in subscribers for Internet Marketers)
Just like any business, with nobody in the store, the likelihood of making a sale is slim. You must be bringing people into your store on a daily basis. How long would any retail establishment last if it were not bringing in new customers on a daily basis?
For people on the Internet this is not just adding a friend on Facebook or Twitter where your average friend is going to have thousands of other friends as well, that is a lot of places to shop and a very big mall. Your odds of making the sale there are pretty slim, you need to bring them into your store to really consider them a lead.
Make Retail Sales
Again, ask yourself a question. How long can a retail store or any business stay in business without making any sales? You already know that the answer is not for very long.
Your overhead is going to become due every single month. In a brick and mortar that means the light bill, the lease or mortgage on the building, the phone bill etc.
Online it means your web hosting, your auto responder, your internet connection. If you are in Network marketing your phone bill and your auto ship at a minimum. How long can you hold out without making retail sales to offset your business expenses? Look at your bank account and see what your budget looks like. If you do not do something to add to that bank account you can quickly calculate how long it will be before you are OUT of business.
I have heard people say that if you want to make money today then you should go get a job. I totally DISAGREE.
Why not make some retail sales?
That would be the best way to push YOUR business forward rather than throw in the towel and go back to the job farce. That is a scarcity mentality, there are plenty of ways to make a retial sale right now especially with the global reach of the internet.
No matter what product or service you sell there is a market for it on the internet. Did you know that the Highest price ever paid to purchase a domain name was for the domain name called “mydirtysocks.com”? I bet you have something better than dirty socks to offer, just a guess.
Recruitment
If you are in Network Marketing (MLM) or if you do primarily Internet Marketing, you are going to want to leverage the efforts of others. You can only get so many new customers and make so many new retail sales by yourself. You need to build a team of folks who are helping you to accomplish that.
In order for your business to expand you need to have new people joining you, there is no getting around it.
So, ask yourself this one simple question. Have you accomplished any or all three of the above things TODAY?
Is doing what you did yesterday going to accomplish any of the above three tomorrow?
If not, you are not focusing on the most important parts of your business. You need opt ins, you need to make DAILY retail sales and constantly be recruiting. All that is just to STAY in business.
That brings us to the place where MOST people struggle…
DUPLICATION

Duplication is THE main factor in creating a successful business when doing either Internet Marketing or Network Marketing. While you are out learning all this fancy stuff like creating lead capture pages, ad copy, Search Engine Optimization, on and on and on, what are the odds that you can duplicate that with someone that you show your business to? The better you get at it, it actually gets harder to teach to the next person don’t you agree?
How long did it take you to learn all those skills?
Do you expect the average person to even stay in the game long enough to develop those same skills?
This is the hard part. Yes, you want to learn all these skills as it is only going to make you a better marketer. It will make your leadership more valuable in the market place.
How much did it cost you in time and money? Is the next guy/girl willing to make that sort of investment in their own business? Perhaps they are and perhaps they are not.
Another thing I see is people acting like they actually DO have these skills when they really don’t.
Sure, they can make a capture page… GREAT! How well does it convert?
They know all about sales funnels…FANTASTIC! How many retail sales did it make for you TODAY?
Yet, here there are all these folks claiming to be “coaches” and “mentors” it’s almost laughable. Most of these people didn’t make a cent yesterday and they are not going to make a cent tomorrow.
So, should you use a pre-made system that does all these things?
A short time ago I would have told you NO, don’t do it! I can show you how because I DO in fact know how to create pretty effective sales funnels. I am able to write half decent ad copy, I know how to drive traffic to get those opt ins. I am a pretty decent recruiter. I have the skills it takes and it took years to develop them, but I too have actually gone BACK to using a pre built System!
WHAT?
WHY?
Duplication! Leverage! Time! Effectiveness!
Listen, it takes a long time to develop a proper sales funnel that works.
It takes a long time to train people to do the same thing. Many people will not make it and you sit there frustrated because you spend time and effort with people who do nothing or just simply lack the skills and desire to succeed.
Maybe they do have all the traits necessary, what is happening to my own business while I teach them all these things? Am I making retail sales? Am I recruiting? Am I building my own list?
NOPE!
Trying to help everyone to duplicate what I am doing is the toughest job of all.
Why not take advantage of whatever is already available?
For a reasonable fee you can have a complete, totally customizable system that has some of the best internet marketing training available for a very reasonable price. Is it duplicatable? It most certainly is! Many , Many of the top internet marketers that I have met have or still all use this sytem because it is the very best available.
Is it perfect?
NO.
I will be honest. I used to use this same system and I left because there were a few things that I did not really like about it. There are some things about it that are a little full of hype and not really “MY STYLE”, here is something to remember. Marketing is not about YOU, it is about what is EFFECTIVE in the marketplace.
The system is totally duplicatable and is super effective. With it you generate tons of leads and you make retail sales. So you can sit there and spend the time, effort, money and do all the split testing, auto responder creation and internet marketing you want. If you are not achieving your goals first and then able to DUPLICATE that then I suggest you point people to a highly effective system that does the heavy lifting for you.
It is never the system that fails, it is the people that fail the system.
